SAG Awards

I attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 25th. Great fun. I even got to get on stage and sing at the afterparty. I've posted some pics. My friend, Jeremy Piven played on drums. He's a great drummer. Jeremy was also nominated last night for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. I was hoping he won. Of course, just being nominated is a great accomplishment. But I'm sure he'll get it next year. He is a brilliant actor. I mean, he's already won 3 Emmys and a Golden Globe. I hope to be as accomplished as he is one of these days.

I was featured on Myspace Celebrity as a Rising Star this week. I am so excited about this, especially because of the movie I just wrapped. The film is called “Not Another Not Another Movie.” I just saw the trailer today. It is so funny, and I am glad I got to help promote it through myspace celebrity. We had such a great cast and crew. Wow, I got to work with stellar actors like Chevy Chase, Burt Reynolds, Michael Madsen, and Vinnie Jones. The director, David Murphy is phenomenal. And David Schultz (you may not know his name now, but you will soon) plays the lead male in the film, and he is HILARIOUS!

We wrapped "Not Another, Not Another" movie last week. You are going to love it! I think it will be the funniest movie of 2009. I play one of the leads, Amanda, who makes a really funny transformation during the film. The other leads are Vinny Jones, Chevy Chase, Burt Reynolds, Michael Madsen, David Schultz, James Duval, Elle Gerber, John Melendez, Ellen Albertini Dow, Tim Piper, and Richard Tyson. The entire cast was amazing! A young director named David Murphy directed. I really enjoyed working with him. I've been watching the dailies and have to say that he's pretty remarkable. As soon as I get approval I will put up some of the production stills, publicity stills, and maybe a teaser. They should have the website finished this week. Movieset.com will be featuring our production for AFM- and that should be finished by Tuesday.

They start principle photography on my next project tomorrow. It's called "Scout Movie" with David Schultz, Chris Kattan, Electra Avellan, and Fred Willard. I'm not one of the leads, but I enjoyed working with David Schultz so much on "Not Another" that I could pass the chance to work on this one. David is one of the funniest guys I've ever met- you will be seeing him alot over the next 10 years! They had the leads booked before I met David, but he offered me a nice supporting role. I'm looking forward to this one too. We are shooting just outside of LA.

The LA Premiere of Soccer Mom will be on September 20th, 2008

I promise to take lots of pics. Here is a synopsis of the film.

Soccer Mom is a warm-hearted comedy about a compulsive soccer mom who dresses up as the famous Italian soccer star hired to coach her daughter's soccer team, then struggles frantically to keep her wacky charade going long enough to see the girls win their big tournament .

Its a really cute movie starring Missi Pyle, Emily Osment, Dan Cortese, Cassie Scerbo and many others. I play Patty Duchamps, the antagonistic snobby Malibu mom, that likes to cause trouble.
